Vientaine was just a stopping point to Hanoi.. Nevertheless, kitorang still went around town and stop by at Ardina Spa for an hour of pampering.. All those bus rides was really killing our back… It was not as good as expected since aku tak biase kene urut and I imagined it to be really sensual and relaxing but turn out to be quite painful.. Again, we had to take another 5 hour bus ride to Vinh, Vietnam and another 6 hours train to Hanoi. Actually we could take the 24 hrs bus to Hanoi tapi tanak since its really full n stuffy sebab they sort of use the bus to transfer their daily goods as well.. (rice, wood, plastic, chicken?, etc).. Laos-Vietnam border was another point to be watched out.. The officer refused to get out passport stamped without bribe.. Here goes my USD 1 to those low integrity officer.. At time like this even USD 1 pon aku nak berkira.. Konon nak tunjuk garang tapi tak larat nak layan.. kasik jek.. Then at Vinh we faced another difficulty.. The local ppl hardly speak any English.. Luckily ade this one English teacher from Hanoi that help us to purchase the train ticket and all.. Overall, this is one of the most challenging leg of our journey..

Ha.. kat sini aku jumpe ramai org2 yg menarik.. salah satu sebab aku menggunakan bahasa melayu nie.. sebab telah ditegur oleh sorang gadis Yahudi; Einat kat Vang Viang ni la.. Die tanye aku.. "Can I see how the Malay writing look like?" Mase tuh aku tgh tulis diary (lebih kepada beraba byk duit aku dah abis).. Pastuh aku ngan comelnye pon menjawab "Sorry, I write in English" dan die ngan innocentnye pon tnaye.. "But why".. ha terkasima gak aku nak menjawabnye.. barula aku perasan.. kite nie sampai dah lupa camner nak menulis dalam bahasa melayu dengan baik.. tgkla bertapa tunggang terbaliknya bahasa melayu saya ini..

Kawasan Vang Viang nie terletak di dalam valley.. cantik sebab dikelilingi bukit bukau.. Kat sini digalakkan singgah kalau minat pada xtiviti luar contohnye berkayak, memanjat dinding, hiking dan sebagainya.. Xtiviti yang paling popular ialah Menube = tubing sebab disepanjang sungai ada disediakan bar untuk membeli beer.. mat salleh mmg suke manghabiskan duit.. tapi aku n day o hanya pergi berkayak memandangkan kami hanya ada 1 hari di sana.. tapi.. best sangatla..

Hmm.. the best place I've been throughout the journey.. There's basically everything here.. cheap n good accomodation, damn romantic scenary, temple, outdoor activities, great foods, cheap stuff, great night market, friendly ppl.. boleh katekan sumela.. We were there for like 4 days 3 night kot.. The first day we went to the waterfalls.. malam went to the disco tec where we got scammed.. This is all because of the stupid guys that went along with us.. Keep promising to belanje the owner of our guesthouse.. You drink u pay la kan.. At the end.. they want us to pay for their 6 bottle of infamous Lao Beer.. Gile.. So the bodoh guy kene baya la kan.. Who ask you to promise anythin.. Anyway.. we had fun that night.. Derang nyer disco bukan cam malaysia la.. (just assume since i've never been to any b4).. Dance started with their traditional dancing ( aku improvice jadi cam joget kadazan pon ade.. haha) n line dancing.. Pastuh baru ade lagu2 rancak n ended with line n traditional dancing.. Well.. I guess its good to preserve their culture gak kan.. kat mesie.. all the traditional dance cam dah ilang jek.. The next day we went for an adventure.. Pi beli tiket bus n had to cycle for like 1 1/2 hr to reach the bus station.. On the wat back singgah kat Phousy market (damn cheap) n had to hitch hike sbb dah tak larat kayuh beskal.. Bestttttt.... Would never forget the experience.. N the next day we went around town sight seeing.. Met a lot of wonderfull ppl at Luang Prabang.. The sweet n shy Kake.. He's an x monk n quit to get into college.. Well, I think ppl just be a monk to get cheap education in Laos.. Bukan betul sgt pun monk2 nie.. The scammer tuh pun x monk gak.. Go figure la kan..

From Chiang Kong we took a boat to Laos border which is Huay Xai. Sekejap jek.. dalam 5 minit cross sungai.. Kalau aku terel berenang mmg aku berenang jek.. Tapi ujan cam kucing ngan anjing pon.. kalau brani benang la kan..

Pastuh.. dah settle ngan imegresen sumer.. kitorang pon amikla speedboat ke Luang Prabang.. Inila perjalanan 8 jam naik boat dalam 9 org kot satu boat lalu mekong river yg besa n scary gak.. Mostly mat salleh tak adventorous cam melayu.. derang akan amik perjalanan 2 hari sbb kate naik boat tuh cam bahaya n tak menasabah.. aku rase biase jek.. cam naik boat pi tmn negara la.. cuma kali nie boat die kecik sket n space kaki mmg takde.. n mase kitorang pi tuh musim hujan.. cam berpinau jugak mukaku ini dipanah ujan..

N Luang Prabang was breathtakingly beetiful . different n untouched.. aku tak retinak describe.. tapi mmg highly recommended..

Kitorang gerak 28/7/2006 kot.. First night in Bangkok, terpakse tido atas sofa hotel Four Sons Place jek sbb sume dah penoh n kitorang dah letih carik hotel.. sume sebab flight air asia yg bengong tapi murah yg selalu delay.. dah tgh malam baru sampai Bangkok.. gile susah nak carik transport.. Kat Bangkok pi Cattuchak Market which is good kalau aku ade rumah baru tapi malangnye takde n then move to the MBK shopping complex where we could get imitation handbag.. pompuan.. shopping jek dalam pale.. malam tuh met Aida n Yay(interesting couple, one from Medan one from Chiang Mai) n off we go to Patpong street.. Original attention nak tgk stripper show tapi ade night market plak tuh.. again.. cuci mate ngan beg2 imitation yg first class.. Patpong show tuh rasenye amatla kotor n disgusting.. not at all recommended.. so kids.. jgn menggatal pegi.. besoknye pi Grand Palace n Tample of Emerald Buddha n cecapat amik train to Chiang Mai.. Chiang Mai was just a stopping point to Chiang Kong which is on the border of Laos.. so takde paper pon wat sane.. just tgk Muay Thai.. dak kecik pon pandai boxing.. sian tgknyer.. Then kat Ching Mai ade banjir plak tuh.. sonok gak tgk abg2 tentera angkat pasir berat nie.. macho gile.. haha

"Takpe.. sore sedap.. down to earth lagik".. meet him and beborak la kejap.. a very down to earth n cool guy.. tak diva like langsung.. ke die tak glemer ek? ntah.. The show was a dissapointment.. (bukan sore die tau.. sore n lagu die best sgt..) Die just nyanyi 2 of his song.. yg lain ntah lagu stevie wonder ke ape.. I tak minat Stevie.. I minat tompi.. .. Pastuh.. ada uncle drummer yg rase die terel gile.. bingit sgt bunyik drum die.. What a spoiler.. Nyway.. tompi ialah abg pendek yg pakai topi bersama baju pink..

Harinie, Faiz n me went to Sunway Pyramid Extreme Park to watch our friends competing in X-Games.. ya ampun.. byk nye dugaan.. First.. sign tu soh park kat Sunway College.. pas tanye dak2 college tuh.. derang kate park kat Elephant Walk? So kitorang baya RM2 for the parking.. sampai kat Elephant Walk.. abg lembut tuh kate kene ade tiket.. what the ****.. nak tgk X-Games pon kene ada tiket.. Fortunately.. my dear fren Pak Tam leh kasik tiket.. Cayunk ko Tam.. tapi in order nak pi kat Pak Tam.. here flies or RM 2 again.. Park plak kat Sunway Hotel nak jumpe Pak Tam.. Dapat tiket tapi takleh masuk kot situ.. Just for Families n Friends n KRU onni.. since kitorang nyer pass besa.. have to get back to the elephant Walk again.. RM 3 plak melayang.. sob sob.. apela nasib kitorang.. Nyway.. X-Games taun nie cam tak ramai org tgk I think mostly bcos of the radiculous rules.. They didn;t allow ppl to go in w/o the pass.. n they didn;t even sell the pass.. Hayyo.. byk susah mau dpt itu pass loh.. sian org yg sesusah dtg tapi takde pass.. For men bauldering..Malaysian rep Hasfanizam won the second place.. OK what.. Asian X-Games k.. Congrats ZAM..

This is the pics for my visit to Perhentian Island from 28/4/2006 till 1/5/2006. Last minute plan ngan Han and Deni. We drove to Kuala Berang, park our car there for RM5/day and bargained for our speedboat to Long Beach, Perhentian Island. Sib baik ABANG DENI terel bargain. We paid RM50 for the return ticket (1/2 hour each way). Sampai kat sane bilik plak takde. Sib baik la Abe Man carikkan bilik for RM 20/night. Tapi toilet teruk gile.. By the second night, Han n I dah terbiase ngan toilet busuk n shower yg airnye setiap 5 minit tersekat. hehe..It was a nice experiece though.. Great exposure for my next trip on a small budget throughout Indo-China.. nyway.. enjoy the pics.. I'm not a good photographer but I assure you that the real thing is not to be missed..

hmm.. one of the best experience of my life.. hope i can get back to Bali expecially to Ubud for more SHOPPING.. went there from 7/9/05 till 11/9/05.. seems like a very long holiday but trust me, you'd need AT LEAST 6 nights in Bali.. most recomended is Mount Batur @ Kintamani ( apart from shopping of course), .. breathtakingly beautiful.. check out the pics.. next on my checklist:

6) Gunung Kawi - just for the cucuk sanggul that i lost @ Uluwatu Pura ( **** those monkeys)
